My name is Kayleigh. I have a profound hearing impairment.

I am 5 years old, I have been hearing impaired since birth. At that age of 8 months I was fitted with a hearing aid device which allowed me to hear limited sounds, and was told the Cochlear implant would benefit me better. So through a few donations, partial help from the medical aid and a loan from the bank for R50,000.00, I was able to have the Cochlear implant.

Since having the operation I am starting to say 3 word sentences and communicating better with the hearing society. I would like to thank God and the people that have donated money towards the operation for giving me a better future, but unfortunately we can't keep up with the monthly installments in the loan and would appreciate it if anyone could donate money to help pay the remaining loan of R 30,000.00.
