LETTER TO ‘YOU’
“Dearest YOU, the words written below are
so important to us, so many people have helped us over the past 7 months, it is
impossible to thank them all individually as I have tried so many times before,
this is where I need your help in publishing this letter, I believe a that a ‘thank
you’ means so much even if it is for the smallest thing. Please Please Please publish
our letter, it will mean so much to Jordan and I. Everyone we know reads the YOU
so we are certain that this is the best way to thank them all. THANK YOU…
Refering to artical dated (YOU 13 June – Deaf Son), we are so sorry that you have had to deal with both your children being deaf, how hard that must be! We are in a similar situation with our daughter and I can understand just why you took the money. You know why you did it, and for you it was for the right reasons. I can understand the terrible stress and pressure you must be going through, “you would do anything to help them”. I hope that someone will reach out to you as so many people have done for us. I wish you all the best for the future, and just take each day as it comes. (heading) FROM KERRY AND JORDAN…
To family and friends ‘so many of you !’, I count (consider) myself to be so blessed and so fortunate – so much more than ‘others’ out there. I am so grateful for your help, your support, your calls, your information, your contacts and your best wishes. To my Mom Bev, Dad Brian and Linda, I cannot thank you enough for your love and support, it never ends. To some of the staff /friends at Wetherlys, without your help we would be in a very difficult situation. You have been so great, having someone to listen to me, being so understanding, and always giving your best advise. To people and strangers I didn’t even know, your advice has also been immeasurable.
The work and fund raising that lies ahead of us will only be possible with all of ‘you’ in our lives. All the thanks I am giving now, is for, and on behalf of the most important little person in my/our life - ‘our daughter Jordan’, born with severe hearing lose 17 months ago, you are the best present and ‘gift’ anyone could ever have asked for, I wouldn’t change you for the world, you are so ‘perfect’ and so happy, we love you very much and “will do anything to help you”. I couldn’t have managed the past 7 months without your Dad, my best friend and fiancé – Stephen. Words cannot explain what you mean to me. You are the perfect Dad, the most wonderful man I could ever have asked for – we love you, and the biggest ‘thank you’ of them all, goes out to you. I know that you would also want to thank everyone mentioned above, so this is on behalf of you to. With Lots of love … Stephen, Kerry & Jordi XXX
